Hi, I'm
Marc, and I build startups on the internet.
I paid beehiiv for two years. They kept raising prices and didn't add one feature I used. When I saw how much I was paying, I built my own (my post on X). It costs 83% less.
People on the internet asked me for the same thing. So I turned it into MailCheap, for everyone.
I use it for my newsletter, with over 50,000 subscribers, and for
Unicorne, TrustMRR's newsletter, with over 15,000.
So I built MailCheap with three things in mind:
Oh, and no ‘Powered by’ badge at the bottom of your emails. On every plan.
Plans grow with the emails you send, not the size of your list.

Your emails prove they come from you. On the free address, DKIM, SPF and DMARC are set up for you. On your own domain, the Domains page gives you the records to add.
New senders start slow. From the start, up to 200 emails go out at once. Then your account earns its speed: a send goes out at once when it's up to 2 times your largest recent one with few bounces and spam reports, and up to 5 times from day 30. A bigger one goes out over hours, up to 3 days. The first time you email new contacts, a small batch goes first. The rest follows 3 hours later, if that batch's bounces and spam reports look fine.
Your list stays clean. Imports leave out typos like gmial.com, spam traps, throwaway inboxes and domains that can't receive email. Readers who stopped opening get one last email. No answer, no more issues. And every email has one-click unsubscribe.
Bad senders get stopped. A campaign pauses when over 2% of its emails bounce or 0.08% get marked as spam. Past 5% or 0.3%, the account is blocked until we review it. I keep each customer's sending separate, so blocking one doesn't stop the others.
Because sending emails is what costs money. Storing a subscriber costs almost nothing.
Most newsletter tools still charge per subscriber. So you pay for people who stopped reading. To protect your deliverability, you'd have to delete them by hand. Otherwise you keep emailing people who are asleep, and your deliverability drops.
Those tools earn more from the thing that hurts you. I don't want MailCheap to profit from that.
MailCheap's list cleanup is on by default. Readers who ignore your issues for months get one last email. No answer, and MailCheap stops sending them issues. They're never deleted or unsubscribed.
You pay for the emails you send.
Connect MailCheap in Claude, ChatGPT or Grok Bot, or add it to Claude Code, Cursor or Codex with an API key. Your agent can then write drafts, send you tests, schedule issues and read your stats. Sending to your list can't be undone, so your agent asks you first. In ChatGPT, OpenAI lets apps make changes only on Business, Enterprise and Edu plans. See the setup.
Yes. Export your subscribers as a CSV file and import it on the Contacts page. You confirm they agreed to get your emails, and MailCheap leaves out duplicates and invalid addresses.
No. You can send from an address like hello@your-newsletter.mailcheap.ai, with your website at your-newsletter.mailcheap.ai. Add your own domain anytime, and your emails move to it.
Signups keep working, and confirmation emails still go out. New sends wait until you upgrade, or until your next month starts. Once the month's emails are used up, welcome emails pause too, and subscribers who join in the meantime don't get one later.
No. Plans start at $19 a month, and you can cancel anytime.
You can cancel anytime from the billing page. Your plan keeps working until the end of the month or year you paid for, and we don't refund partial months or years. If we close your account without a breach of the terms on your part, we refund the unused part of your plan.
