People keep asking me about MailCheap's deliverability. Here are the real numbers, from customers' emails.
The last 30 days, to Oct 15, 2026. How we count
Every week since the first email went out, Monday to Sunday. The week in progress is hatched.
Each week's emails that mailbox providers accepted.
Good senders stay above 98%.
Collecting dataA week shows once 3 or more customers and 1,000 emails are in it.
Out of emails sent. A campaign pauses at the first line, and the account is blocked at the second.

Out of emails sent, under the same two limits. Gmail asks senders to stay under 0.1%.

The median newsletter's, so one sender can't move it. Apple Mail opens emails for its readers, so opens run high: read it as a trend.

How we count. Counted: the emails customers send through MailCheap, from issues and each step of a send to last-chance, welcome and confirmation emails. Left out: test emails, the accounts the MailCheap team tests with, and accounts blocked for abuse, which can't send anymore. The delivery rate is delivered out of delivered and hard bounced; bounce and complaint rates are out of emails sent, as MailCheap's limits count them. Open and click rates are medians across newsletters with 50 or more issues delivered in the period. A number shows once 3 or more customers and about 1,000 emails are behind it. Days and weeks are in UTC.
On by default, for every customer.
On the free address, DKIM, SPF and DMARC are set up for you. On your own domain, the Domains page gives you the records to add.
From the start, up to 200 emails go out at once. Then each account earns its speed, with sends that bounce little and get few spam reports. The first time you email new contacts, a small batch goes first, and the rest follows 3 hours later if it looks fine.
Imports leave out typos like gmial.com, spam traps, throwaway inboxes and domains that can't receive email. Readers who stopped opening get one last email. No answer, no more issues. And every email has one-click unsubscribe.
A campaign pauses when over 2% of its emails bounce or 0.08% get marked as spam. Past 5% or 0.3%, the account is blocked until we review it. I keep each customer's sending separate, so blocking one doesn't stop the others.
Every feature on every plan, from $19 a month, for 20,000 emails.
